We are so happy to welcome you to Fairwood UMC.  If you are seeking the Christ, we earnestly hope you will find Him here; if sorrowing, may you receive comfort from God and the fellowship of Christian friends; if discouraged, may you find peace and hope in Him who will give you rest; if friendless or alone, may you find companionship in Christian love.  Whatever you need, may God be your strength and help.  We welcome you to our church fellowship and pray that you will take some time to visit and find a membership home here and become an active part of God's ministry in Tyler and the world.

Please know that we would love to have you come and be our guest in our worship service.  We want you to know that as a congregation we are truly striving to embrace our United Methodist motto to have open hearts, open doors and open minds.  Simply put, we want you to experience the grace of God, that is, God's unconditional love, as you worship, study and serve in fellowship with us.  Come as you are. 

Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
